Boy Scout Equipment Checklist

The following list is provided to aid Scout’s planning,but it is not all encompassing:

  1. Complete Boy Scout Uniform
  2. Underwear and Socks for at least 6 days
  3. Jacket, sweater, or sweatshirt
  4. Swimming trunks
  5. Comfortable hiking boots, athletic shoes, shoes for boating
  6. Poncho or Raincoat
  7. Belt Backpack, duffel bag, or footlocker
  8. Canteen
  9. Sleeping bag or blankets and small pillow
  10. Toilet Kit, toothbrush, soap, comb, etc.
  11. Notebook, pencil, pen, Scout Handbook
  12. Merit Badge pamphlets, workbooks
  13. Suntan lotion and insect repellent
  14. Flashlight with extra batteries
  15. Watch, First Aid kit, Camera
  16. Folding pocket knife(blade cannot be longer than 3 inches)
  17. Long pants (jeans) for Swimming MB
  18. Long sleeved button down shirt for Swimming MB
  19. Long pants (jeans) for COPE
  20. Medical Forms and Prescription Medicine.
